Come experience our 18th Annual Winter Fantasy featuring the fine art and craft of over over 170 exhibitors four weekends November 22-December 14. Our festival has been transformed into an enchanting winter wonderland where exhibitors create, display and sell original creations. Art media includes: jewelry, clothing, fused and blown glass, ceramics, woodwork, forged metals, painting, sculpture and more. See for yourself why Winter Fantasy is a favorite stop for savvy shoppers seeking one-of-a-kind gifts.
New for 2008 is our Winter Art Series of 60-90 minute art or craft classes of painting, wreath making & more! We also offer free to low-cost art projects for children and adults, demonstrations by artists including glass blowing, holiday entertainment and community performances, 3 outdoor cafés, and visits with Santa!
Back for it’s 2nd year, is the ArtisTree Ornament Fundraiser to benefit our Art Education Fund. Artists have created original ornaments ranging from mini paintings, found objects, clay figures, ceramics, gourds, orange peel dolls and photography. Ornaments are priced $10.00 to $50.00 and go on sale Opening Day, so get yours before they’re gone.
Give the "Gift of Art" to the artist or art lover on your shopping list! Sawdust Art Education Gift Certificates are perfect and allow the recipient to choose from a January Jewelry, Spring Into Art or Autumn Art weekend art workshop. Special events include our Toys for Tots toy drive November 28, 29, 30 and December 6 and 7 plus the One Warm Coat collection of gently worn coats on December 6, 7, 13, and 14. Both events include free admission with acceptable donated item. (see Promotions for more info).
Even with thousands of sparkling lights our canyon gets very chilly so dress appropriately and note the weather forecast does not predict real snow for 2008. Besides great shopping and picture-perfect moments, our art-filled environment will inspire you to explore your inner artist, too!
